Hi all, i have been having a little bit of trouble with my Mac Book Pro, i have chatted with the Apple Care people a few times, they have been very helpful but the problem still pop ups occasionally.
Today i phoned up again, this time i was equipped with a couple of very informative Screen Shots,as a result the chappie then suggested i should RE-Install Mountain Lion, he said i had to Start Up pressing the ALT key to get the Recovery menu,AND i would NOT loose any of my files !, he also sent me an email with, i thought the SAME instructions therein.
BUT the instructions he sent me told me to press CMD + R when restarting NOT ALT !!!!!
So please which is correct ?????
